I am loving this moisturiser from Kiehl’s “Pure Vitality Skin Renewing Cream”. I love how it smells like honey! It smells so yummy you want to it lol. This moisturizer is so lightweight and hydrating. This moisturizer is known to smooth the skin surface, smooth fine lines, and strengthen the skin for youthful vitality according to kiehls.com. It is made with korean red ginseng root which is known to accelerate cell renewal. Which is known to help the skin give a vibrant glow.Another ingredient is New Zealand Manuka Honey which is known to strengthen the skin barrier to smooth any fine lines.

I have been using this moisturiser for both day and night and my skin has had improvements. Not only is the moisturiser light weight, but it is very hydrating. A little bit goes a long way to hydrate neck and face evenly. I tend to use half the amount of the size of a dime which is plenty for my skin. I warm up the moisturizer within my fingers and dab on to cheeks, forehead, and chin. I massage in circular motions until I reach my neck. If I am using this during the daytime I follow up with an spf. Since I have oily combination skin this moisturizer is not heavy at all. I feel it really hydrates my skin and leaves it silky smooth.

Midnight Recovery Botanical Cleansing Oil

If you all know by know I love Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Elixer and eye cream. Well Kiehls has done it again by providing another item for my skin regime with the essential botanicals that Midnight Recovery contains. For 2017 they have launched a Midnight Recovery Botanical Cleansing Oil. This botanical cleanser is so gentle to the skin that it cleanses it without clogging your skin. It can be used to gently cleans skin or just remove makeup. I learned that using just a little bit of this product goes a long way. You want to take a few drops of it and massage it between fingers to warm up. Later you want to apply it in designated area and massage on the skin to melt away your makeup. After you can wipe off with a cotton pad or rinse it off with your favorite face wash.

This botanical cleansing oil is enriched with an aromatic blend of pure botanical oils such as squalane, evening primrose oil, and lavender.

Twelve Days of Christmas

Hi Dolls! For this mini series I will do my best to be consistent. Holiday’s are around the corner and Thanksgiving has just passed. The Christmas magic has started and the shopping has begun! If you are like me holiday shopping can be a little hectic! Specially when shopping for gifts and not having a clue what to get. With many parties scheduled it can be a little crazy. There are the friend parties, the office gift exchange, white elephant gift, gifts for new bf, and gift for family. It can get a bit overwhelming to try to find the right gift. I absolutely believe in gift cards, but that can be a bit impersonal at times. I also don’t like doing random gift exchange at work to be quite honest! Why because usually those are drawn and you might get someone you really dislike or not know.Who actually came up with this??? If you’ve had the misfortune of working with a group you are not to close  to it  can be difficult to shop for. So on the first day of Christmas I recommend to get the following for your  coworker…..

My Go to Mask

One thing I do enjoy to do every week is to indulge by giving myself a home facial. I enjoy using these two masks and alternate throughout the week. The key to having successful results with a facial mask is to be consistent. Forget the excuse of not having time or being to busy for a face mask. Take 10 minutes out of your normal schedule to relax and give your skin some self pampering. The two following masks are the ones I enjoy using twice a week. The way I make time is that I use them right before bedtime while I’m winding down by fixing my bed or watching a late night tv show. Other times I take them to the gym and use them while I am relaxing in the sauna. My loves just 10 minutes to self-love and pamper your skin! I guarantee you that your skin will thank you by being radiant and glow.

If you guys have not notice already…. I really enjoy Kiehl’s products! They have been around for centuries and have proven to give results through out the years based on their rich history. These two masks have not been around for that long ,but I have been testing them out for the past four months. The Tumeric and Cramberry Seed Energizing Radiance Mask helps energize your sking be reducig dulness, fatigue looking skin, and restores the skins natural rosie apperance. Have you ever notice that when you are drained out your skin shows it to?I work in a high stress work environment and boy does my skin show it even when I’ve had 8 hours of sleep.This mask is recommended to be used in the morning, so your skin can have a  natural energizing glow. I tend to do it right after I come home from work when I am planning to go out to dinner with my husband. Or simply when ever I feel my skin needs to recharge.What I enjoy about this mask is that it lightly exfoliates my skin due to the cranberry seeds in the mask. After I wash my face I apply a small amount and let it sit on my skin for 10 minutes. After it hardens I like to rinse my skin and massage the seeds on my face.  If you want to turn it up a notch apply on your shoulders or cleavage if your planning to wear a strapless dress.

The other mask I alternate with is the Cilantro & Orange Extract Pollutant Mask . This mask helps replenish the skin to pollutants that we are exposed to. Think about this mask as a shield for your skin from enviromental aggressors. This mask helps strengthen the skin and prevent impurities. If you have dull unhealthy sking this mask will replenish and renew your skin by providing radiance and shielding from daily enviromental aggressors. Using both mask weekly may seem like a lot ,but it’s the complete opporsite. I use this mask while I sleep and pick two days out of the week to use it. For example Mondays and Wendsdays. I leave this mask on my skin for five minutes before I go to sleep. I gently blot any excess with a tissue after five minutes and then go to bed. I let it work it’s magic while I sleep. In the morning I wash my skin and make sure to apply SPF.

Skin Food

So if you have  been keeping up with me on instagram @365beautification , you probably already know that I got married! This is the reason why I’ve been MIA from blogging , but I promise you I will at least try to post  every week or bi weekly 🙂

So for this post I want to present you with two of my current items that I have been using for a couple of months! I’ve seen a dramatic change in my skin ! From the way that it feels and looks. These two items are by Kiehl’s knows as Midnight Recovery Concentrate and Daily Reviving Concentrate. Now I know that for many of us gals and gents concentrates and serums can be a little intimidating. We can also feel that we are too young to use such products. My secret to healthy looking skin is to prevent early! You are never to young to start using products. Did you know that our skin starts showing signs of aging and change at the age of 24? Also, depending on genetics,environment, and sun exposure our skin can be affected. Now Im not saying go out there and buy every single product ! What I am saying start with baby steps. For examples moisture, protect with spf, and do not forget to use eye cream. Now that I got that out of the way ! Let me explain to you the magic of these elixers:)

These elixers are use in conjunction with a regular skin regime. If you use any other serum make sure that the elixer is applied last. For example right before your moisturizer, as I like to explain.Keep in mind that you only need two small drops for your skin and that it is not an oil. Many people confuse these for being oils that will clog your pores , but this is not the case 🙂  Simply drop two drops on your palm , rub together to warm up, and pat on skin .Also, do not use them together because one is meant to be used for night and day time. Now lets move on to the benefits of these little magic bottles.

If you had the option to only use one I would tell you go with Midnight Recovery first, but as I advice both work wonders 🙂
